How to become a member of the Jackfruit Farming Program?
Village Agro Vision Field Officers and Field Inspectors directly meet the farmers and will explain them about the jackfruit tree cultivation projects. Field Officers will survey the place of the farmers who want to grow jackfruit trees and check whether the land is suitable for growing jackfruit trees.
The farmer is admitted as a member. You can join the Palamaram Cultivation Program at a cost of (10 cents) per unit. Those who have more space can also join this scheme. A minimum land of 10 cents is required and there is no maximum land limit.
Also, for the farmers who are members of this scheme, training courses are conducted for the farmers by the Field Officers of the Village Agro Vision Organization about the details of the cultivation of Jack Fruit trees, watering of the jack, application of fertilizers and application of pesticides. Village Agro Vision visits the land where jack fruit is cultivated twice a month and records the growth and characteristics of jack fruit in the Village Agro Vision office. At the same time the necessary advice and instructions to the farmers and the doubts regarding the cultivation of Jack Tree are being resolved.
Buy Back Agreement between the jack fruit farmers and the Village Agro Vision Organization is a bilateral agreement in which the producers agree to give their production of Jack Fruits only to Village Agro Vision Organization. so that the farmers can sell their produced jackfruit directly through the Village Agro Vision organization and benefit from the middlemen.
